Bracket Breakdown (R2)- South

Round of 32

Overview: This was a tough region for us in round 1. Miami lost on a buzzer beater, one of our upset selections (Davidson) fell a tad short, and Virginia… Well… Yeah. We were one of the few that predicted Buffalo over Arizona, but overall, we’re looking to rebound in round 2. If you think we’re ‘playing it safe,’ think again. We’re taking 13 seeded Buffalo again, and wouldn’t be surprised if they win by another decent margin. We are taking Nevada to take down the new regional top seed, Cincinnati, and we have Tennessee advancing, but this will be a closer contested game than people think. As much as we wanted to take UMBC, we just couldn’t. Their luck will carry them through St. Patrick’s day, but when they play Kansas State tomorrow, they will have no leprechaun or pot of gold to help them, Kansas State advances.

9 Kansas State

5 Kentucky
13 Buffalo
3 Tennessee
11 Loyola-Chicago
2 Cincinnati
7 Nevada
