NCAA Bracket Breakdown
Round of 64
Overview: The West region is one of the more balance regions in the tournament. There are numerous games you could consider a ‘toss up.’ While we have Missouri, and A&M advancing, we could easily the contrary in Florida State and/or Providence pulling off the ‘slight upset.’ To reenforce the balance within the West, we wouldn’t be surprised if any of the top five seeds find a way through to the Final Four.
Biggest Upset: We really wanted to have Montana over Michigan in one of the biggest stunners in the tournament, but we held off. We ended up going with an upset a tad more reasonable in 11 seeded San Diego State defeating 6 seeded Houston. San Diego State has seen modest success in recent NCAA tournament births, advancing to the round of 32 in its’ last three tournament appearances dating back to 2013. When they get in, they always seem to be prepared, and we see them knocking off a tough Houston team in 2018.
